Book Activities

Encourage young children to develop critical thinking, creativity, language, listening, and concentration. Between the ages of 2-7 children begin to develop their pre-critical or logical thinking skills. It is also the time when they begin to use their imaginations. This happens typically through play.

These low and no-prep activities use their favorite books to extend their imagination and critical thinking beyond the story and into a more playful situation. Making learning more interesting and relatable to the child. As a result, they will be able to practice:

  • letter formation
  • recall and sequence s story
  • symbolize items
  • symbolic play or imagination while playing
  • fine motor skills
  • planning
  • creativity
